How to restrict user to shop more than Gift card amount in Shopify ?

    HI we are using Shopify plus platform and we have a requirement that
    suppose a user issued a gift card amount $100 and he has the products innhis cart more than $100
    than if he applies the gift card it should not apply.

    I have tried to find the applied gift card through cart object but it is not returning the gift card value.

    Please suggest how we can achieve this.

    Its really an interesting scenario but unfortunately, i don;t have deep knowledge about shopify because i am not a developer by profession. Online shopping has gained popularity among the younger generation because the younger generation is very familiar with the latest advanced technologies compared to previous ages. They know its advantages as I am 52 years old, but now I also prefer to buy products online like the last time I bought a Seiko watch from rafiqsonsonline.com/product-category/seiko/ from a retailer. In fact, when shopping online, the biggest advantage is that you save time and are fully aware that the time is the money. Anyway, thanks for sharing a nice piece with us.
